Your journey kicks off with a warm welcome at our meeting point in Getsemaní, where you'll be introduced to your guide and local chef. From there, venture into the vibrant Bazurto Market, the heart of Cartagena's culinary scene. As you wander through its lively, colorful aisles, you'll encounter an astonishing array of local and exotic ingredients.
Your guide will connect you with the vendors, who will share the stories behind their products. You'll have the chance to taste fresh fruits like soursop, lulo, and mamey, and sample typical snacks, ranging from stuffed arepas to fried empanadas. Additionally, you'll master the art of selecting the best ingredients and haggling like a true local, enjoying the renowned “ñapa,” the little extra treat vendors often offer.
After exploring the market, you'll return to the cooking studio, where the culinary demonstration begins. Guided by the expert chef, you'll learn essential techniques of Colombian cuisine, following step-by-step instructions to prepare traditional dishes.
Alongside fellow participants, you'll cook as a team, adhering to the chef's guidance while receiving personalized tips. The environment will be relaxed and collaborative, allowing you to learn and experiment as you craft your own versions of the dishes.

1) Posta Menu Cartagenera >> Available: Monday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

* Posta cartagenera, rice with coconut, plantains in temptation, accompanied by avocado chili
* Sweet tree tomato
2) Seafood Casserole Menu >> Available: Wednesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
* Kibbeh and Baba Ganoush (Lebanese heritage in Colombia).
* Seafood casserole with coconut rice
* Curuba mousse
3) Ceviche Menu >> Available: Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
* Sea bass ceviche with plantain and lemongrass emulsion
* Shrimp and snail cocktail
* Vegetarian coconut, mango, and flower ceviche
* Crispy squid and green mango ceviche with corozo fruit and hibiscus.
4) Red Snapper in Coconut Sauce >> Available: Saturday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
* Three types of Carimañolas (crab, cheese, and ground beef).
