We will begin our day by picking you up from your accommodation at 8 AM. From the heart of Cartagena, we'll set off towards the remarkable Totumo Volcano.

During our journey, our knowledgeable guide will share insights into the history, geography, and culture of Colombia's Caribbean region. El Totumo is a natural marvel that challenges geological norms and is considered a sacred site, enveloped in myths and legends that speak of its healing powers for the body, mind, and spirit.

After a one-and-a-half-hour drive, we'll reach Colombia's most renowned mud mound. Here, you'll receive guidance on safely descending into the crater and how to delight in a therapeutic mud bath. After spending about an hour at the volcano, you'll climb down to cleanse yourself in the nearby lake. Locals will assist travelers in removing the mud and refreshing themselves before we continue the tour.

Around 11:00 AM, we will head to the town of Galerazamba. Here, we will wander through its streets, explore the central square, and visit the Ethno-industrial Museum, where you'll discover the salt industry and the everyday life of local communities.

We'll wrap up the day with a delicious traditional lunch featuring dishes like fresh fish or chicken, rice, plantains, and salad.

Around 1 PM, we will return to Cartagena, dropping you off at your accommodation.
